Hi, I'm Colleen.
I am a policy, advocacy, and campaign strategy professional with a decade of experience advancing social change priorities. I've led advocacy and digital strategy for organizations focused on global peacebuilding, disarmament, and feminist foreign policy. I am currently the Director of Peace With Justice at the General Board of Church and Society, the social justice agency of the United Methodist Church. I've held previous roles as Advocacy Director at Women Cross DMZ and Digital Engagement Manager at Global Zero and Beyond the Bomb. I previously had a consulting business focused on policy and digital campaigns, where my clients included organizations like American Friends Service Committee, FACT Coalition, Quincy Institute, and Moore Law. I am currently serving as Secretary of the Board of Directors for Peace Action Fund of New York State, Board Member of Churches for Middle East Peace, Board Trustee for the Janelia Foundation, and editor of the Not So Grand Jury podcast.
I have a decade of experience in developing policy priorities, executing legislative and advocacy strategies, lobbying Congress, managing coalitions, working with frontline grassroots communities, developing tailored policy and communications materials, cultivating relationships with policymakers, facilitating meetings, managing digital platforms, leading campaign strategy, conducting research and policy analysis, and planning events and programs.
